PURPOSE:To enable the highly responsive operation start of a secondary supercharger by performing the rapid opening action of an exhaust cutoff valve at the time of detecting the instantaneous shift of an operating mode from a low region to high load region. CONSTITUTION:The turbines 205, 207 of a primary and a secondary turbosuperchargers 204, 206 are disposed at exhaust passages 202, 203 by cylinders in a two-rotor type rotary engine 201. The upstream sides of the respective superchargers 204, 206 of two exhaust passages 202, 203 are communicated by a communicating passage 222 of the relatively small diameter, and an exhaust cutoff value 223 is provided at the secondary side exhaust passage 203, on the right downstream of the opening position of the communicating passage 222. In this case, when the instantaneous shift of an operating mode from a low load region to a high load region is detected by the existence of kick-down, the rise of exhaust dynamic pressure on the upstream side of the exhaust cutoff valve 223 at the secondary side exhaust passage 203 is suppressed by the opening control of a waste gate valve 227. |
