PURPOSE:To prevent manufacturing from defects such as bears and cord wicking by setting a green case having a bead wire and a carcass which has not been completely vulcanized in a core mold element and starting to fill a placing rubber in a mold under an initial mold clamping condition which corresponds to a condition wherein a distance between a bottom force element and the core mold element is more widened than that in a final mold-clamping condition. CONSTITUTION:A green case 20 wherein a bead wire 14 and a cord layer 16 with an unvulcanized or semi-vulcanized rubber as a carcass are wound is fitted to a core mold element 10. Under an initial mold-clamping condition, the core mold element 10 is elevated by means of a cylinder apparatus and a distance between a bottom force element 24 and the core mold element 10 is widened than that for a final mold- clamping condition. A distance W1 between a top force element 22 and the core mold element 10 is made thereby approximately the same as the distance W2 between the core mold element 10 and the bottom force element 24. Approximately the same amt. of placing rubber flows into each the top force element 22 side and the bottom force element 24 side and under the final mold-clamping condition, it is possible to reduce a difference between a gauge of the bottom force element part 27A of a pneumatic tire 27 with a lug and a gauge of the top force element part 27B of the pneumatic tire 27 with the lug. |
