PURPOSE:To attain high sensitivity and high max. density (Dmax) in reversed printing and to improve black spot and dot reproducibility by forming at least two silver halide emulsion layers on a substrate and making the sensitivity of the emulsion layer not close to the substrate higher than that of the emulsion layer close to the substrate by 0.1-0.4 logE. CONSTITUTION:When a silver halide photographic sensitive material having at least two silver halide emulsion layers on the substrate and contg. a hydrazine deriv. in the emulsion layers or other hydrophilic colloidal layers is imagewise exposed through the substrate to form a high-contrast negative image having >= 8gamma, the sensitivity of the emulsion layer (upper layer) not close to the substrate is made higher than that of the emulsion layer (lower layer) close to the substrate by 0.1-0.4 logE. High sensitivity and high Dmax can be attained in reversed printing and black spot and dot reproducibility can be improved.
