PURPOSE:To simply debug a microprogram by trapping the sequence of the microprogram and performing a bug evading process with reception of a microinstruction for correction of a microprogram word. CONSTITUTION:It is detected whether a microinstruction requiring the correction exists or not via the registers 1-3, a mask circuit 4, and a comparison coincidence circuit 5. If so, the microprogram word under execution is trapped to a prescribed address. Then a bug evading process is carried out at the trapping destination via a microprogram. Thus the microprogram can be debugged with high efficiency.
