The novel device claimed consists of an interface 1 which is coupled to the cash register 8 and which is integral with a calculation and control unit 2 managing an electromechanical mechanism 3 issuing coins and banknotes. The entire assembly acts through the action of a power source 4 integral with the calculation and control unit, and, in the case of the electromechanical device, with the interposition of a power stage 5. If there is no cash register, a direct keyboard 6 or, alternatively, a keyboard with interface 7 is used, both equipped with a display device, a coin-absence indicator and a reset-to-zero button. <IMAGE>
