<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the rupture of sewing threads of a sewing section and improve strength and safety by forming the sewing section sewing an air bag main body and a belt catch in the directions perpendicular to the longitudinal directions of suspending belts. CONSTITUTION:End sections 31a of suspending belts 31 are sewn to a belt catch 23, and the catch 23 is sewn to the outer periphery of the gas injection port 27 of the rear side member 21b of an air bag main body 21 via a sewing section 25. The sewing section 25 between the catch 23 and the member 21b of the air bag main body 21 is formed in the directions perpendicular to the longitudinal directions of four belts 31 into a square shape, and the square shape is chamfered at corners. The tensile force applied to suspending belts 31 is not concentrated at one point of the sewing section 25 between the belt catch 23 and the air bag main body 21, it is uniformly applied to the sewing section 25, the rupture of sewing threads can be prevented, and there is no fear that the belt catch 23 is removed and the air bag main body 21 collides with the face and breast of a crew.</p> |
