An improved detector device is provided which consists of two complementary pieces, one in the form of a receptacle 1 and the other in the form of a cover 2 therefor, capable of forming a whole, defining an inner cavity 3 in the form of two pyramidal frusta. In order to facilitate filling of the inner cavity 3 with the freezable liquid, and for evacuation of possible air bubbles contained in the liquid, provision is made in the aforesaid cover portion for through-holes 5 of small diameter which place it in communication with the outside. In addition, provision is made for a perimeter edge 1a which facilitates coupling of the detector onto the package of the product to be monitored. <IMAGE>
