The pre-oven comprises a casing with an upper edge joining its rear side with its top side, and a lower edge joining the front side and side parts with its under side. It has a hearth from which at least one rear side producer gas channel emerges, a hatch for filling with fuel, an ash hatch with prim. air intake, and at least one sec. air intake. - At least one sec. air channel is incorporated with an inlet and outlet, with the sec. air inlet being on the front side, under side or one of the side parts arranged in the vicinity of the lower edge. The channel inlet is arranged on the rear side or top side in the vicinity of the upper edge, so that the sec. air receives an excess pressure and flow required for continuous ignition of producer gas and cooling of the oven. |
