Seat of the type with a moulded one-piece body which comprises seat and back, in which said body 1 adopts a shell form with marginal grooves 3 in which is concealed the U-shaped frame 4, resting on inner projecting flanges 5, which shell is complemented with another one-piece moulded piece 7, with fluted branches 8 which close the grooves 3, being secured with the shell 1, which has the seat 2 and back 2a in relief, which surface is completed with a plate 11, arranged in the complementary piece 7 which joins its branches transversely, both pieces 1 and 7, likewise moulded, carrying, at the top, the respective halves 6, 6a of a handle. It applies to all types of public-transport vehicle. <IMAGE>
