The elements which are resistant to the forces of traction and compression are located in two spaced parallel planes, intersecting in each one of said planes at least in two directions, the elements which are resistant to shearing and twisting forces being those which are fastened removably and which connect the elements which are resistant to the forces of traction and compression between said planes and between the points of intersection of their directions. Application to dismantleable and transportable structures which can be set up where desired, and also in fixed structures in which resistance requirements may vary. <IMAGE>
