PURPOSE:To provide the subject working oil containing specific base oil, rustproofing additive, lubrication assistant and inert type sulfur-based extreme- pressure additive at specific ratios, capable of imparting working lubricity, discoloration resistance and rustproofness by single application and removable by washing in coating pretreatment. CONSTITUTION:The objective working oil having an active sulfur content of <=0.5wt.% and a viscosity of 5-30cst (at 40 deg.C) contains (A) 65-95 pts.wt. of a base oil consisting of one or more kinds of mineral oils, oils and fats and liquid synthetic oils, (B) 1-20 pts.wt. of a rustproofing additive consisting of >=16C alkylsulfonic acid salt and/or >=12C carboxylic acid (salt), (C) 1-20 pts.wt. of a lubrication assistant consisting of an alkylphosphorous acid ester and (D) 1-20 pts.wt. of all inert-type sulfur-based extreme-pressure additive consisting of a fatty acid ester compound containing 5-15wt.% of sulfur, a sulfur-bonded oil and fat and a compound produced by bonding an oil and fat to a 8-18C olefin through sulfur. The weight ratio or the component C to the component D is 1:15 to 2:1. |
