The invention relates to a racquet for an outdoor or indoor ball game. The racquet has the form of a plate (1) made from a rigid material and preferably circular. This plate (1) is equipped with gripping means in the form of an orifice (2) through which the user slips his thumb; it also includes, intrinsically, a game accessory in the form of a circular orifice (3), for a complementary use. The circular orifice (3) has a diameter greater than that of the ball; it may be equipped with a basket (7) for receiving the said ball. <IMAGE>
