PURPOSE: To improve adaptability and efficiency by providing a conveying means in which articles from a feed hopper are received in article receiving pockets, and the received articles are conveyed to a means which relates operationally to the feed hopper and marks the articles through a marking device. CONSTITUTION: A feed hopper 5 is modified so that a controlled and conveyed amount of pellets are received to a chain conveyer 10. The pellets are packed in a void part decided by the enclosure 21 of the feed hopper 5, led to the feed hopper 5, and loaded onto the conveying bars 12 of the chain conveyer 10. Each conveying bar 12 has a plurality of pellet-receiving pockets 25 which are arranged longitudinally and crossingly. Therefore, when the conveying bar 12 is pulled to a position right under the feed hopper 5, the pockets 25 of the conveying bar 12 receive the pellets from the feed hopper 5 and pull the pellets along a transportation mechanism 4 for further treatment. In this way, the operability of contact type printing is elevated, and adaptability and efficiency can improve. |
