<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of jam of a discharge paper by detecting the inclination of a sorter adapter when paper on which an image is formed by an image forming means is transported to a sorter through a sorter adapter installed on a main body for discharging the paper. CONSTITUTION:An image forming device body 1 placed on a carriage 3 develops the image of an original in an original set part 8 on an image carrier which is omitted in showing on the figure through electrification, light exposure, and development, and prints the image to a paper P which is stored in a cassettes 9 - 11 or manually supplied 12, and fixation 5 is carried out, and then the paper is discharged from a pair of paper discharge roller 6. The discharged paper P is transported into a pre scribed bin 21a of a tray unit 21 which is vertically moved by the mechanism which is not shown on the figure a shown by the arrow A from a pair of sorter rollers 23a through a sorter adapter 4 and a sorter 2. An inclination detector 30 is installed on the side surface of the case body of the sorter adapter 4, and a height adjusting screw 31 is installed on the bottom part. When the detector 30 shows an inclination, the inclination is corrected by turning the screw 31. Accordingly, the jam of the paper which is generated in the case that the sorter side is lower than the device main body is prevented.</p> |
