<p>PURPOSE:To permit a lightweight, rigid packing body to be formed by providing a binding member having an appropriate length inserted into a locking fastening on the back side of the contact face of retaining bodies and capable of being inserted engageably into the slits formed in the retaining bodies. CONSTITUTION:A flat article packing body consists of retaining bodies 2 and 3 having the plate parts capable of contacting with a flat article to be packed and being slit, a binding member 5 having an appropriate length inserted into a locking fastener 6 on the back side of the contact face between the retaining bodies 2 and 3 and capable of being inserted engageably into the slits 4 formed in the retaining bodies 2 and 3 and an outer case 1 in which the retaining bodies 2 and 3 are receivable fixedly. Therefore, the article is received securely be tween the retaining bodies 2 and 3 and packed in the outer case 1 with a spac ing, the slits 4 are formed according to the size of the article and the article is bindingly secured accurately by the binding member passing through the slits 4, independently of the size of the article. In this manner a lightweight, rigid packing body can be obtained.</p> |
