The crane is used in a factory or workshop for assembly, repair or maintenance work. It has a horizontal arm (2, 3) with one end attached to a vertical tube which can rotate about its vertical axis in bearings formed by brackets (17, 18). These brackets (17, 18) are bolted to the upper and lower ends respectively of a mounting plate. The horizontal arm consists of two parts (2, 3) which fit telescopically one inside the other. The inner part (2) of the arm is supported by a tie bar (12). The crane can be attached by the mounting plate (19) to a stanchion forming part of the workshop wall.
