PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for large alternate memory regions and eliminate the need for ROMs, etc. for storing defective addresses by reconstituting the control program to be loaded in a sub-processor in accordance with the registered information of a defective address pointer. CONSTITUTION:A defective address pointer 14 is provided to a main processor 1, and an alternate memory region is provided in the 2nd control program storage memory 21 of a sub-processor 2. The defective memory region of the memory 21 is detected by the main processor 1, and the address of the defective memory region is registered in the pointer 14. In accordance with the registered information of the pointer 14, the main processors 1 reconstitutes the control program to be loaded in the sub-processor 2, after which it loads the same in the memory 21 of the sub-processor 2, thereby averting the accessing of the defective memory region. |
