The nipple (1) has a cylindrical bore for sealing connection of an elastomeric pipe (8) to a larger dia pipe (9) with a peripheral bore. The two ends (2) of the connecting nipple taper conically to the end points. A middle section has a groove (3) with corrugated base (5), forming two annular shoulders (4). Between them and the conical ends is a cylindrical section (7). USE/ADVANTAGE - For heat exchanger pipe coupling to a header, with increased reliability.
