PURPOSE:To perform the removing work of burrs generated at the outer peripheral part of a bar like body to be worked consisting of a soft material surely and with high efficiency without giving any damage on the body to be work, by combining a brushing means and buffing means. CONSTITUTION:One end part of a body W to be worked is placed on a guide recessed part 8 of a receiving plate 4. On the other hand, a brush 2 and buff 3 are driven with their rotation in the same direction by 1st and 2nd driving means 5, 6. As a result, the body W to be worked is rotated in an arrow mark 9 direction by following up to the rotations of the brush 2 and buff 3 and also fed in the axial direction. Then burrs are removed by the brush 2 and also the chip of burr is discharged by the buff 3. Also, the outer peripheral face of the body W to be worked is polished by the buff 3 and the surface roughness is improved. |
