Flow speed measurement appts. for phase flows in pipe system - using pairs of transducers with opposite phase voltages opposed by sensor electrode

The arrangement measures flow rates of two and more phase flows in pipe systems and contains transducer electrodes mounted on a measurement pipe opposite a sensor electrode. Voltages of opposite phase are applied to the transducer electrodes and the resulting voltage at the sensor electrode fed to a conventional electronic circuit for signal processing. Each two transducer electrodes form a pair. Voltages of different frequencies are applied to the different pairs. USE/ADVANTAGE - For measuring flow rates of finely granulated material in hydraulic or pneumatic suspension at low equipment cost with elimination of external influences on electronics.
