PURPOSE:To prevent the formation of black line images on one lateral side of a reduced image by varying the projecting quantity of a partition member for regulating the irradiation range of an LED lamp from the LED lamp. CONSTITUTION:The projecting quantity of the partition member 19 corresponding to a reduced latent image S2 from the LED lamp 17 is varied. The irradiation range of the LED lamp decreases if the projecting quantity of the partition member is increased and the irradiation range of the LED lamp increases if the projecting quantity of the partition member is decreased in this case. Namely, the projecting quantity of the partition member 19 is set large so as to narrow the projecting quantity in the state in which the irradiation range (d) of the LED lamp 17a for irradiating the end edge side of a static charge removing area S3 by a white sheet 1a tends to be close to the latent image area S1 of an original (b) of the largest size. The projecting quantity of the partition member 19 is set small so as to widen the irradiation range (d) in the state in which the irradiation rage (d) of the LED lamp 17a tends to deviate from the static charge removing area S3. The inconvenience that the black line images are formed on one lateral side of the reduced image is surely prevented in this way. |
