Stacking pallets comprises a hollow box-shaped frame with side walls (3,5) and a fixed intermediate base (2) acting as a support floor. The cover plate (9) which is slid into place via channels (8) has openings which are adapted to hold various shaped workpieces. ADVANTAGE - Only the cover plate has to be changed when different workpieces are to be held the rest of the pallet remains in place. This leads to considerable cost saving due to the flexibility of the pallet.
