The clamp for holding a workpiece consists of a bar (14) with a fixed arm (12) projecting at right angles from one end. The bar (14) forms a guide for a second arm (18) which can slide along the bar and is clamped in its working position by the tipping force exerted on the arm. This sliding arm (18) has a screw (22) fitted with a handle (46). The inner end of the screw is fitted with a pin (32') with a conical tip (40). The outer end of the fixed arm is fitted with a similar pin (32). These pins (32, 32') enable the workpiece to be accurately centred in the clamp. USE - Clamping workpieces.
