A fluidiser and conveyor unit for electrostatic powder-coating appliances, with a container (10) in the form of a vertical standing vat, open at the top for the reception of a powder tran-sport means, e.g. a bag (17), has a removable container lid(12), a horizontal fluidiser plate(13) fixed at the inside of the lid at a distance to the lid top(12a), a compressedair pipe (15) arranged at the lid(12) opening out in the intermediate space between the lid top(12a) and the fluidising plate(13), for the supply of fluidising air. A powder discharge tube(14) is provided, arranged at the lid(12) penetrating the fluidising plate and opens out in the inside of the container near the fluidising plate, for the delivery of the fluidised powder. A carrying frame(11) is provided, at which the container(10) is located so that it can swivel about 180 deg. ADVANTAGE - Gives optimum uniformity of sucked powder-air mixt. Can be quickly and easily cleaned to give quick colour change.
