A pipe connection, in particular for plastic pipes and hoses or the like, is composed of an abutment piece located in the interior of the pipe which is to be connected and of a clamping device provided on the outer side of the pipe. In the case of a corresponding process for producing such a pipe connection, an abutment piece is pushed into the end of the pipe which is to be connected and convexity of the pipe is achieved and convexity is provided on the clamping device. The device for carrying out the process is composed of a piston which can move axially with respect to the pipe to be connected and which corresponds approximately to the internal diameter of the pipe to be connected and on which the abutment piece can be pushed. When the abutment piece is pushed on, heated air is fed to the pipe end. <IMAGE> |
