DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING THE ALLOCATION OF NODES IN A SERIAL CONTROL APPARATUS

A serial control apparatus in which nodes to which are connected one or more sensors and one or more of actuators are connected in series in the form of a closed loop including a controller which sends data frame signals including an output data for said actuators. At each node, the data from its associated sensors are added to said data frame signals and the output data for its associated actuators are picked up from the data frame signals. The controller includes first setting means for setting output data for the actuators of the individual nodes, second setting means for setting numerals that indicate the order of transmitting the data from said controller to the nodes of the individual nodes, and data forming means for forming a sequence of output data for the actuators in said data frame signals according to the contents set by the first and second setting means, enabling the data to be allocated to the nodes simply and correctly even when the nodes are added or deleted.
