PURPOSE:To expand the number of degrees of freedom of a circuit, and to simplify its design, by electrically connecting in parallel plural diode circuits operating as a loading susceptance at an interval of odd times of 1/4 guide wavelength, and making the allowable electric power a very low loss. CONSTITUTION:A waveguide 21 whose section is rectangular is provided with each flange-like input terminal 22 and output terminal 23 on both its ends. On a prescribed position of the waveguide 21, a pair of diode circuits 24a, 24b operating as a loading susceptance are placed at an interval of odd times of almost 1/4 guide wavelength. As for the part which is between the diode circuits 24a, 24b in the waveguide 21 and becomes a main line 25 of a loaded line type phase shifting circuit, height of the inside wall is adjusted in advance in order to obtain the prescribed characteristic impedance. The characteristic impedance of said part is decided in accordance with a prescribed set extent of phase- shifting. For instance, in case when the extent of the phase-shifting phi is 45 deg., the characteristic impedance normalized by the electric power supply impedance becomes Zm=0.924, and the main line 25 is adjusted so as to have this characteristic impedance. |
