摘要 |
PURPOSE:To inspect a depth and a phase of a flaw of the surface of a test specimen easily and accurately by applying a marking by a flaw signal caught with an ultrasonic probe while a position of the flaw is displayed on an image display device. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic pulse is made incident into the surface of a test specimen 1 from an ultrasonic probe 4, propagated through the surface of the test specimen 1 about the axis and the reflected wave on a flaw of the surface is caught with the probe 4. This reflected wave is inputted into an ultrasonic flaw detector 3 and further into a computer 5. An arithmetic section of the computer 5 calculates a position of the flaw in a circumferential direction of the surface of a test specimen 1 from a peak appearance moment in a flaw signal. The position of the flaw is displayed on an image display device 8 in a development drawing of the test specimen 1 and a depth of the flaw can be learned from a height of a peak value of the flaw signal. The signal of the flaw from the computer 5 is inputted into a marking device 10 to operate and jets a paint out of a painting section 12 corresponding to the flaw to perform a marking on the surface of the test specimen 1. The length of the flaw can be learned depending on the length of the marking. |
