PURPOSE:To realize firm bonding by using a hot-melt adhesive for bonding molded articles of a thermoplastic saturated norbornene polymer to each other or to other material. CONSTITUTION:In the method of bonding molded articles of plastic comprising a thermoplastic norbornene polymer [e.g. a polymer having structural units of formula I (wherein R1 and R2 are each H, a hydrocarbon residue, halogen, ester, nitrile or pyridyl, which may be combined together to form a ring; n is a positive integer) or of formula II (wherein R3 and R4 are each the same as R1 and R2; l and m are each a positive integer; p is 0 or a positive integer) to each other or to other material, a hot-melt adhesive is used as the adhesive. It makes it possible to firmly bond the plastic moldings to each other or to other material such as metal or a molded article of other plastics. |
