PURPOSE:To make it possible to stably feed the heat of a predetermined temperature and to realize a high density of stored heat by constituting a heat storage apparatus hermetically sealing a large number of heat storage materials consisting of a plurality of unit heat storage members of polyethylene which absorbs latent heat into a vessel providing heat transfer fins toward the inner surfaces thereof and radiating the same and hermetically sealing a heat transfer medium into the vessel. CONSTITUTION:Each of unit heat storage members 32 is made of rod-shaped polyethylene of a high density, and absorbs latent heat of approximately 200kj/kg and radiates the same at approximately 130 deg.C. Between heat materials 33 in which a large number of unit heat storage members 32 arranged at a required interval, heat transfer media 34 which are difficult to interfere with said unit heat storage members 32, for example, ethylene glycol, propylene glycol or the like are hermetically sealed, and directly make contact with the peripheries of said unit storage members 32, whereby a heat transfer is conducted by a heat conduction and a convection. A vessel 35 in which are sealed heat storage materials 33 and media 34 is formed by a metal having an excellent heat conductivity and heat transfer fins 36 fitted on the inner wall of the vessel 35 promote the heat absorbing and radiating operations of the heat storage materials 33 and media 34. |
