There is described a method for making the winding of the stator coils of an electric motor, said method comprising the steps of winding the coils in a predetermined cavity; bonding the individual coils together while in the cavity using bondable magnet wire; and nesting individual coils together to form a multi-phase stator winding while in the cavity.
