COMPOSITION FOR INJECTION FOR USE IN IMAGING HUMAN TUMOR

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition containing an antibody fragment specific to tumor marker radiolabeled with effective amount for radiographing with radioisotope and enabling detection of tumor and position measurement of tumor in a high resolution. CONSTITUTION: This injection composition comprises (A) a marker-specific antibody fragment specific to a tumor marker, e.g. a cell surface marker such as carcinoembryonic antigen and an intracellular marker such as human chorionic gonadotropin or its beta subunit and labeled with a pharmaceutically innert radioisotope (e.g. I-123, Tc-99m) detectable by using a photoscanning device and (B) a pharmaceutically permissible injection carrier. A multivalent hybrid containing a fragment specific to a first tumor marker and a second different fragment specific to same or different tumor marker in the form of a chemical bond can also be used as the component A.
