PURPOSE:To automatically eliminate imperfectly inserted electronic parts, by making a head means ascend while confining a part inserted in a circuit board as it is, when imperfect insertion of at least one lead wire is detected by a detecting means. CONSTITUTION:A driving motor 36 in an insert driving mechanism 32 rotates in the positive direction; a head mechanism 18 descends; lead wires of a confined electronic parts are inserted into a circuit board 12. When a detecting means judges that an IC 11 is correctly inserted and all lead wires are led out from below the substrate 12, a confining part release the confined state, and ascend while leaving the IC 11 on the substrate 11. On the other hand, when it is judged that the IC is not correctly inserted into the substrate 12, and at least one lead wire is not led out from below the substrate 12, a control unit 21 outputs a driving signal to rotate a driving motor 19 in the inverse direction. As a result, the confining part performs the preceding operation in the inverse direction in the state confining the IC 11. |
