NEW MATERIAL:A new amide compound expressed by formula I (R1 is amino acid residue or peptide residue having 2-4 amino acid residues; R2 is 1-3C alkyl; X1 to X4 are H, alkyl, allyl, halogen, nitro or carboxyl; R3 is 1-5C alkyl; R4 is inorganic acid residue or organic acid residue; n is 1-6). EXAMPLE:A gamma-glutamyl-N-ethyl-N-(2-trimethylaminoethyl)-p-phenylenediamino- trifluoroacetic acid salt. USE:Used as a reagent for measuring of enzyme activity. Said reagent is a substrate having excellent stability and solubility and further hardly affected by interfering material. PREPARATION:Protected amino acid having at least one COOH or protected peptide having 2-4 amino acid residues is reacted with aromatic amino compound expressed by formula II and fatty amino group is made to quaternary ammonium with affecting of halogenated alkyl to afford the compound expressed by formula I. |
