Rest for test firing on gun - has adjustment for position of gun in both vertical and lateral directions

The rest for the test firing or the controlled firing of a gun (1) with a long barrel has a support beam (2) on which the gun is mounted. This support beam is mounted on a second support frame (3) which allows the first support beam to move in the direction of the gun recoil. The second support frame is mounted on a base (4) in a way which allows the second support to move relative to the base. The base is rigidly mounted on a foundation (5). An adjuster enables the second support frame (3) to be adjusted relative to the base (4) both in the vertical and lateral directions. USE - Testing of firearms.
