The automatic resetting system for the air chamber in a hydropneumatic flushing mechanism for a toilet cistern. Air is injected into the valve (1), through which water flows to fill the cistern, and rises to the lid (5), where it generates sufficient pressure to return the float (9) and valve to the shut position. - Air can be injected via axial recesses open to the outside and partly covered by a flexible water supply pipe to form capillary passages.
