PURPOSE:To enable a screw cover to be easily attached without damaging external appearance or design, by a construction wherein a protruding part is provided in a screw mounting hole, and a screw cover to be detachably embedded in the hole to cover a screw can be rotated on a part thereof making contact with the protruding part. CONSTITUTION:A screw cover device for an air conditioner comprises screw mounting holes 3 provided respectively at both end parts of a lower part of a front panel 2, screws 4 mounted at bottom parts 3a of the holes 3 to fasten a main body 1 of a room unit and the front panel 2 to each other, protruding parts 3c and 3d provided in each of the holes 3, and screw covers 5 detachably embedded in the holes 3 to cover the screws 4, respectively, each of the screw covers 5 being able to be rotated on parts at which a U-shaped groove 5d thereof makes contact with the protruding parts 3c, 3d of the hole 3. The screw cover 5 can be easily fitted by pushing it until the bottom surface of the U-shaped groove 5d thereof makes contact with the protruding parts 3c, 3d of the hole 3. The cover 5 can be detached by pushing an end part of a lid part 5a into the hole 3 to rotate the cover 5 on the parts of contact with the protruding parts 3c, 3d, thereby protruding the other end part of the lid part 5a. |
