Combined, compact car heater with heat exchangers

The compact heater burner unit (20) is surrounded by a primary fluid gas-liq. heat exchanger, in which the water flows in a spiral path for improved heat transfer efficiency. The secondary, liq-air heat exchanger (4) is linked by hoses, and the burner unit incorporates a fluid pump. The secondary heat exchanger has two sets of parallel tubes to feed the waterflow through a honeycomb structure in both directions, by a thermostat valve. The heater is bypassed for the engine coolant circuit.
