Utilisation of low temperature heat for heating building - involves circulation air between inner panels and inner surface of walls

The method is for using a source of low temperature heat to reduce the heat loss from the interior of a building. Plaster board panels (12) are installed inside the building near to the inside wall surface so that a narrow gap (11) is formed between the panel and the wall (4). This gap is connected by a duct (13) to an external source (15) of low temperature heat, such as a solar panel (1) or warm waste water. Air heated from this source circulates by convection through the duct and gap and then flows out through the upper duct (9) into a space (6) between the wall (4) and an outer panel (7). The circulation of slightly heated air reduces the temperature difference across the wall (4) and so reduces the heat loss by conduction through the wall.
