<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate injecting and sealing of impregnant under a low pressure and in a short time by a method wherein ridges are radially provided on the inner sides of cross-shaped flanges and the upper and lower flanges are so provided that the cross-shape upper flange correspond to the middle part of the cross-shape lower flange. CONSTITUTION:As the upper and lower flanges 2a and 3a of a bobbin 1a are cross-shaped, winding layers are exposed between the cross-shape parts of the flanges. When impregnant is injected, the impregnant can penetrate into the layers between the windings 6 and tapes 5 easily through the exposed parts of the winding layers. Moreover, as ridges 7 are provided on the winding sides of the cross-shaped flanges 2a and 3a, gaps can be formed between the winding 6 and the upper and lower flanges 2a and 3a and the impregnant can penetrate into the layers between the windings 6 and the tapes 5 easily through the gaps. Further, the upper and lower cross-shaped flanges 2a and 3a are so positioned that the respective upper and lower ridges 7 are not superposed on each other when viewed from above, the upper parts and the lower parts of the layers between the windings 6 and the tapes 5 are not closed by the ridges 7 at the corresponding positions, so that the impregnant can penetrate uniformly.
