PURPOSE:To obtain the photosensitive material having the excellent sharpness of images, high sensitivity and excellent rapid development processability by using specific silver halide emulsions and specifying the reflection density. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide particles contain >=90mol% silver chloride as an average value in the same emulsion and has the region rich with silver bromide near at least one particle peaks of the particles; in addition, the average silver bromide content of the particle surfaces is <=15mol%. Titanium oxide particles are incorporated at 14wt.% density into a water resistant resin layer on the side where the silver halide emulsion layers are provided. Further, the optical reflection density at 680nm of the photosensitive material is >=0.70. The color photograph having the high sensitivity, high contrast, the excellent sharpness and further the excellent balance in the sharpness of the respective color images of cyan, magenta and yellow is obtd.
