PULLEY This invention relates generally to hoisting mechanisms. The proposed pulley comprises a hub with spokes secured radially about its circumference. Mounted on the spokes is a rim with a rim well accommodating lining inserts arranged with clearances therebetween and embraceable by a rope. Each insert has at least one portion in the form of a magnetic element, the magnetic elements of the adjacent inserts facing each other by their like poles. The invention can be used in the mine hoisting plants.
