METHOD AND DEVICE FOR COMPRESSING HIGH RESOLUTION PICTURE

PURPOSE: To quickly and efficiently diffract dynamic processes by forming the icon of the (p)⊗(p) pieces of pixels displayable at a display device by the pixels for expressing tiles. CONSTITUTION: In the case of compressing the plural pieces of pictures to the icon of (p)×(p) pixels, the respective pixels are divided into the (p) pieces of the tiles of (q)×(q) pixels, the (q) pieces of the pixels are selected from the respective tiles, the average value of the (q) pieces of the pixels is calculated and one pixel for expressing the tile is generated from a circuit exciter 14. In this case, it is performed by forming one icon of (p)×(p) pixels by the pixel for expressing the tile. The icon is simultaneously displayed at a display terminal 18 and the difference of operating states is observed.
