PURPOSE:To reduce storage capacity and to obtain highly accurate function values by using an accumulated value obtained by removing the prescribed number of digit bits from the least significant bit side of an added result as a function value and time-sequentially executing carry to be added to the least significant bit of the accumulated result. CONSTITUTION:An adding means adds digital value data A formed by a digital value data forming means to a digital value C interpolated by a digital sequence B generated from a digital sequence generating means and stored in an accumulated value storing means and a bit string obtained by removing the prescribed number of digit bits on the least significant bit side of the obtained added value is stored as the digital value C of the new accumulated value. Since the digital sequence B is the bit-inverted digital value of a digital value in which respective numerals are sequentially circulated, the carry for the addition based upon the digital sequence B is time-sequentially generated. Consequently, the storage capacity can be reduced and highly accurate function values can be obtained. |
