The collector and binder for round material in a trough formed of two walls has one of the walls (5) adjustable in height. The height-adjustable wall (5) has a lateral (17) and a horizontal (15) wall section. A horizontally adjustable wall (23) forms part of a movable stop-carriage (6) fitted with a guide (26) into which the vertically adjustable trough section (5) fits. The wall incorporates a roller (25), the guide (26) and stop-carriage (6) have a spindle (29). USE/ADVANTAGE - Relative movements of workpieces leading to friction are reduced to a min. on the sides of the trough in which round material, such as pipes and steel rods, are collected.
