Optical enlarger for scanner data - projects marking lines at fixed distance from original stage plane onto projection board
摘要
The enlarger is used to register the data required for processes in scanning for the prodn. of printing manuscripts in the reproduction branch. The original image (1), e.g. transparency, negative or black-and-white film is projected to cover the image (2) in the lay-out (3). Two or more marking points or lines (4) at precisely set distance from the original image plane (5) with the original (1) are projected together onto the projection plane (6). With the aid of an electronic measuring tablet (7) the distance of the projected points or lines or transferred to a computer as electronic data. The computer uses the latter to ascertain the scale of enlargement. USE/ADVANTAGE - Producing digital forms images suitable for printing. Simplified construction reducing number of fault sources. Enlargement factor can be given directly in computer switched in-front of scanner.
