PURPOSE:To make it possible to measure the state of abrasion of a trolley wire continuously by inputting the reflected light from the sliding surface of the trolley wire into a light receiving part, and outputting the remaining diameter of the trolley wire based on the signal from a line sensor. CONSTITUTION:The sliding surface of a trolley wire 1 is illuminated with the light from a light projecting part 4. The reflected light from the sliding surface is received with a light receiving part 10. The intensity of the received light is transduced into an electric signal. The signal is sent into a processing part 12. Then, the sliding surface of the trolley wire 1 and the sky which is the background are separated based on the electric signal sent from the light receiving part in the processing part 12. The width of the sliding surface is processed in a computer and outputted. At this time, when AC power is used for lighting a lamp 2, the luminance of the lamp is decreased at the time when the voltage becomes zero. Therefore, a plurality of the lamp are juxtaposed, and the ACs having the different phases are supplied from a lamp-group controller 3. Thus the decreases in luminance is prevented. |
