<p>PURPOSE:To move and display a cursor on a desired screen speedily and smoothly by modifying the contents of a cursor position displaying means of displaying a cursor position through a cursor position display changing means, and displaying a screen which corresponds to the modified contents. CONSTITUTION:After the page of a screen to be displayed and a line and a digit in the screen are inputted, a display address change key on a keyboard 5 is pressed. Then, the state of a flip-flop CKFF for indicating whether a display address change mode is set or not is checked. When ''1'' is set, data inputted to a page register PR, a line register LR, and a digit register DR are referenced to display the page contents in the page register PR on a CRT display device 8, thereby moving a cursor to a position determined by the contents in the registers. After the change, the display address change key is pressed again to change screens, and the cursor is positioned at the changed place, thereby starting screen display at the line.</p> |
