<p>An illuminated display shelving system (1) is disclosed in which lamps mounted on a shelf (3) are supplied with electricity through brackets (15, 15") which support the shelf (3). The brackets (15, 15') are releasably engageable with a plurality of shelf locations in a pair of vertical supports (11). Engagement of the brackets (15, 15') causes them to be connected, through the supports (11) to an electrical supply such as a transformer (4). The power supply is stabilised to allow shelves (3) to be added to or removed from the system (1) without the need for adjustment to the supply. Alternative embodiments are disclosed having a larger number of vertical supports and having a number of horizontal supports. <IMAGE></p> |
