PURPOSE:To improve the yield of a slab-type solid electrolytic fuel cell product and to simplify the manufacturing process thereof by mutually overlapping united parts, each comprised through the process of forming and baking a thin film, in such a manner that an air electrode and a fuel electrode do not directly face each other and put a solid electrolytic film is sandwiched therebetween to form a unitary cell to mutually laminate these cells. CONSTITUTION:A united part A-1 is obtained by depositing a thin-film through a process of chemical vapor deposition to form only one layer of the resultant thin-film so as to be united with an air electrode 1. Meanwhile, a united part B-1 is obtained by depositing a separator 4 on the smooth face of a thick-film fuel electrode 3, performed and pre-baked, through a process of chemical vapor deposition to form only one layer of the resultant thin-film so as to be united with the fuel electrode 3. A unitary cell is formed by mutually overlapping the united part A-1 and the united part B-1, both obtained in this manner, in such a form that the air electrode 1 and the fuel electrode 3 do not directly face each other while gas passages 11 are set in a direction orthogonal to each other to put a solid electrolytic film 2 therebetween, and then these cells are mutually laminated to obtain a slab-type solid electrolytic fuel cell. The number of quality control processes can thus be lessened to improve the yield of the fuel cell product. |
